Chapter 19 Summary

Corporal Harland and his men are a marine unit fighting the Covenant on the ground. This is his first mission against the Covenant, but this time the aliens are shooting weapons that spread needles all over the place, wounding and killing his men. As the driver takes one of the wounded men and the Corporal back to base, they see that the Covenant, the Grunts, have totally destroyed the makeshift base they built. As the try to escape and follow the river up to HQ, the Covenant Banshees try to shoot them. The Corporal fires back at the Covenant while they drive to HQ. when they reach HQ, HQ has been attacked too. Some of the soldiers at HQ are still alive but most are dead.
