Chapter 26. Snail Summary

Lucy stumbles home in the sleet. She is becoming sicker and more disoriented with every step. Lucy is uncontrollably thirsty and delusional. As she is walking she sees an open Laundromat and buys herself a drink, she begins to vomit and ends up vomiting on Mark's jacket. Lucy continues on her way with the intention of giving Mark's jacket back but her thoughts get more and more confused and delusional she becomes. She is eating the sleet and repeating her address to herself along with portions of her paper describing the symptoms of ketoacidosis, though she doesn't remember why exactly she is remembering those words and where they came from.
