Chapter 17. Fuzz Summary

Lucy wakes up feeling extremely sick, she stumbles and tests her blood sugar and finds that it is at an all time high of 494. She quickly gives herself 30 ml of fast acting insulin hoping that it will help. She tests again a few minutes later and finds that it is lowering her glucose a little bit. Lucy notices that the chrysalis is changing and getting darker. She can see the caterpillar inside is changing. Instead of staying home, Lucy goes to school and tells herself that it will be better than staying home with her mother. In class Lucy continues to be sick and is having crazy thoughts which indicate she is having a reaction. The teacher notices that something is not right and asks her if she is okay. Lucy stands up and ends up passing out.
