Chapter 8. Femmes Fatale Summary

At school, Dylan gives Lucy a present. It is a little box with a chrysalis in it. He explains that it is alive and is going to turn into a butterfly. Though Lucy has never received a "bug" as a present, she is pleased with it and keeps it.

That Saturday, Ms. Butkus, Mrs. Graham, and Lucy are all in a meeting because of the paper Lucy wrote. Though she was invited, Lucy decides not to go to the meeting and goes to the mall instead. Lucy wears extra makeup and dresses more vampire-like than usual as she makes the walk to the mall.
