Chapter 3. Undead Summary

Lucy starts by saying "I am not cool. Dead people are cool. I am not dead. I am undead". She then defines what undead means by explaining that her father is undead because his life was saved when his appendix burst. She is undead because she was saved from her diabetes when she was younger. She explains the Chinese saying that "If you save a man's life, you are responsible for him". If the person was meant to die and you intervene by keeping them alive then you are responsible for their actions from that moment on. She wonders who is responsible for her actions.
