Chapter 8, Ender Summary

Petra sends an email to Bean talking about the essays Peter and she write and that Alai is not in control in India. Petra goes into labor while still typing; she is two months early, which is probably because the key has been turned. Peter thinks this could be the break they need to find the other babies. The baby is like Bean...with the key turned. Bean tells Petra about the top-secret I.F. space ship where he will travel until a cure is found. He suggests she stay on earth with their normal babies. They name the new baby Andrew Arkanian Delphiki, after Ender Wiggin. Bean's genetic modifications bred true. According to Medel's law, half of the babies will probably be born with the key turned. Bean doesn't intend to bring Petra on the space ship.
