Chapters 3-4 Summary

Maddog spotted his victim at the County Clerk's office. He hadn't attacked the artist yet. but was thinking about her. He knows there will be another killing after the artist. The woman at the County Clerk's Office is a real estate agent. He introduces himself as an attorney at Felsen-Gore, says he is thinking of buying property, and obtains her business card. As soon as she walks away, he is thinking of the artist again.

Maddog has visible bruises after attacking the female artist, and he drives to the south lake district where the office of the real estate agent is located and begins his stalking.
