Chapter Seven, Part 1-3 Summary

Harry and Tyrone fight the cold and streets with hundreds of other junkies in order to feed their habit. For safety they no longer split up and they scrape the streets like the rest, trying to get their hands on drugs; At times they lying to Marion and Alice in order to keep what they find to themselves.

One night Tyrone and Harry freeze on the streets and word starts that a dealer names Harlan Jefferson planned to put heroin out on the street for the Christmas season. The catch is that he has doubled the costs and the minimum purchase is five hundred dollars for half of a 'piece' of heroin. Harry and Tyrone are short and ask Marion to turn to her shrink. She makes sure Harry understands that she may have sex with Arnold...
