Chapter Two Summary

Harry and Tyrone start their day after sunset. They think about how unlucky people are who have to work full time jobs and suffer through the same routine every day. They head to the morgue where their friend Angel works. On the bus, Tyrone reminds him of the cultural divide in the south Bronx and they head to the back of the bus. At the morgue Tyrone and Harry meet up with a group; Angel, Marion, Gogit and Betty. Gogit brings heroin and everyone puts up money for their share and move to private corners to get high.

A man named Lyle Russel calls Sara on behalf of the McDick Corporation to invite her to be featured on a television program. Lyle never reveals which show Sara will participate in but Sara is so giddy with anticipation that the details don't...
