Chapter Four, Part 1-2 Summary

Tyrone meets with Brody and finds out that the supply of heroin they have been getting, "the dynamite," has been cut off and Brody is left to sell heroin that is miles less potent. Harry and Tyrone think they have nothing to worry about but by the end of the summer things literally and figuratively go cold for them. Winter sets in and Brody can no longer get uncut heroin at all. The obvious solution is to stop using but even with their best efforts, their plan doesn't last through one evening.

Sara's calls have become an expected joke at the McDick Corporation now that she calls twice every week. Depression starts to set in and Sara now takes all of the pills in the morning hoping that her bad feelings will subside. Aiming to force happiness...
