Chapter Six, Part 1-3 Summary

The year is ending and Sara passes her time by calling the McDick Corporation a few times a week. The operators try to be patient with her, but every time Sara gets the same response and hangs up, returning to her viewing chair.

Harry and Marion no longer talk about their coffee house plans or do anything beside shooting up drugs, watching television and listening to music. Now they can barely afford to purchase enough heroin for their habit so no money is coming in and hopes of getting the pound of uncut heroin have faded. One night things get really bad and they can't find drugs anywhere. Marion and Harry feel panic and cold welling up in them until Tyrone digs up a fix for everyone.
