Peter

Peter is the central character in the story. He is a boy; however, he has been exposed to a substance called starstuff that has made him immortal so that his body will always be that of a boy. The starstuff has also given him the ability to fly. Peter is an orphan who originally lived in England but after a series of adventures came to live on a tropical island called Mollusk Island. On the island, he is the leader of a small band of boys who call themselves the Lost Boys. Among the five Lost Boys, Peter is the only one who can fly.

Peter is an adventurous boy who enjoys taking risks. One of his favorite activities is to use his flying abilities to torment the pirates who are encamped on one side of Mollusk Island. Over the course of the story, Peter becomes more serious...
