Chapters 19-24 Summary

Chapter 19 is called "Anything Unusual." Lord Ombra is interested in the report that one of the sailors thought he was attacked by a bee and tells Nerezza to double the watch at night and report anything unusual to him.

"The Signal" is the title of Chapter 20. Molly and her mother are having tea served by their servant, Jenna. When Jenna leaves the room, they speak in quiet voices about the dangerous situation. Molly refers to a group called the Others who had captured her once before until she was rescued by Peter. Her mother cautions her to be careful what she says since people may be listening.

Jenna returns to the room and tells Molly that she has a visitor. It is George Darling, an awkward boy who lives nearby. He senses something is unusual and comments on the large men...
