Chapters 87-90 Summary

"The Golden Weather Vane" is the title of Chapter 87. Upon reaching Salisbury, Molly recognizes the village cathedral and remembers she had been taken there as a young girl by her parents. Remembering a house with a gold weather vane, she finds the house with the help of George.

In Chapter 88, called "A Good Friend of His," Lord Ombra takes over the shadows of two people who live near Salisbury, settling into their house to wait.

"No Choice" is the title of Chapter 89. The house Molly remembers is guarded by a large man who has a bear named Karl. The children are caught by Karl but then let inside, where Molly's father is surprised and dismayed to see her. She explains her mother's kidnapping to her father, but he tells her he has no choice.
