Chapter 33 Summary

John drives to Roxanne's address in Philadelphia and calls her on his cell phone. He introduces himself an FBI agent and tells her that he wants to talk to her about the TWA crash. Roxanne tells John that she's meeting her boyfriend Sam for dinner, and John says that's fine because he is meeting someone, too. He won't keep her long. Roxanne walks down to meet John, and they walk to a nearby restaurant, where they order drinks and talk about her cleaning job at the Bayview Hotel and the day of the crash.

Roxanne tells John that Liam Griffith interviewed her, along with another man who she describes as good-looking, and John suspects she's talking about Ted Nash. Roxanne says that when she went in to clean Room 203 after the crash, it looked like the couple had been lying on top of...
