June, July and August Summary and Analysis

On June 3rd, Liz calls to invite her to come to her office to meet the office manager. As she entered in the office on the 4th, she is nervous. It turns out however that she will be employed as an intern. On the 27th, Liz has been working for twenty-two "glorious" days. Summer is coming to an end and Nancy must decide where she will go to school.

It is July 2nd, and Nancy has lunch with Adam, the mailroom boy, again. He is in high school and wants to be a dentist. He is serious and reserved. Adam is like Kyle, Lew's brother. On the 12th, Nancy learns that Adam has his own car. They eat together Dutch-style. Nancy is glad to have a friend.
