September Summary and Analysis

Nancy does not want to die. She wanted children and grandchildren. She wanted to have them with Lew. She is not even sure if she will graduate from high school. On the 4th of September, Officer Williams returns to ask Nancy about Collin's car and Nancy tells him that Collin had gone to an Abraham Lincoln Junior High. He will collect the yearbooks and try to recognize Collin. Missy has started visiting Nancy every day and encourages her to get on with her life. Nancy starts feeling better.
