Chapters 140 - 141 Summary

Peter turns to Thomas with the locket still hanging from his hand when Thomas fires Foe-Hammer at Flagg. Flagg has been shot in the eye not only with the arrow, but with the locket that Peter had been holding. Flagg screams and then disappears right before their eyes. Thomas apologizes to Peter, expecting anger and getting affection instead.

Chapters 140 - 141 Analysis

Thomas fires the arrow at Flagg in a turn of irony since Thomas is the weak one that Flagg has taken advantage of all this time. Flagg is gone, but perhaps not dead. Peter and Thomas make up, ending the theme of sibling rivalry once and for all.
