Chapter 22: Jet Plane & Epilogue

Before Travis hits send in Chapter 22, Trent calls him, and Travis and Abby rush to Morgan dorms where they are relieved that Trent is alive. When Abby notes that Travis saved her life, he admits that he came back for her because he could not leave her, but she knew he would come. Thinking of the horrors she just witnessed, Abby is glad that she belongs to Travis because she could never feel so safe after such a tragedy if she did not, and that is when she knows without a doubt, despite the consequences or what anyone else thinks. Her confession is interrupted as America and Shepley call to make sure they are alive, and after they assure their friends of their safety, Travis admits that he does not get scared often, but he was terrified...
