Chapter 10: Poker Face

When Abby's contrivances to avoid Travis finally fail, he asks if they are going to pretend the other night never happened, but after Parker interrupts to confirm his date with Abby, Travis grows furious, asking if he is not good enough. Abby questions when sex became so important to Travis, and he responds, "since it was with you" (page 187)! Realizing Abby's intent, Travis claims he will prove to her that he only wants her by continuing to avoid other women.
