Chapter 11: Jealousy

When Abby wakes in Travis's arms, he tells her he loves her and swears to make her happy. Megan calls his phone, and he tells her not to call anymore because he is with Abby now. Though Abby claims to trust him, Travis would not blame her for making him earn it. At school and lunch, Travis seems proud to hold Abby's hand, and their simple display of affection generates a lot of stares and murmurs. Travis looks as happy and peaceful as Abby has ever seen him, and everything feels right, but when Chris jokingly asks if Abby finally gave it up, she lets Travis teach Chris some manners. After Travis forces Chris to apologize, Chris makes another wisecrack, so Travis beats him up and threatens to break his jaw if he even looks at Abby again. As Abby follows...
