Objective: Author - Dolores Prida: As introduction to the study of Beautiful Senoritas, we will begin by examining the playwright, Dolores Prida. Cuban American playwright Dolores Prida has written more than a dozen plays and musicals that achieved critical acclaim. Her plays are known for their frank portrayal of the difficulties faced by immigrants who try to embrace a new culture without losing their old one.
