Chapter 7, An Offer Summary

Peter Wiggin emails Vlad, the leader of the Russian armies, and arranges a meeting in St. Petersburg. Peter and Vlad disagree about the role the Jeesh graduates play, Peter believing that any country who has an Ender's Jeesh military commander is more likely to go to war. Vlad believes those countries are more likely to be scrutinized. Peter wants all the Ender's Jeesh group to leave Earth, except Peter. Peter meets with Carn Carby, Dink Meeker, Crazy Tom, Shen, Fly Milo and Dumper all in their respective countries. None accept his offer to leave earth. The fighting in India grows worse and China withdraws from the hegemony, while the Arabs join in occupying India. Two essayists appear on the net—one called Lincoln (Peter) writes of ending the war and giving the people their rights, while the other named Martel (Petra) writes of the dangers of the Caliph and Muslim...
