Chapters 103 - 108 Summary

Ben and Naomi have found Dennis's hiding place in the abandoned house, but find nothing there that will help them. They continue on over the fields toward the castle, wondering all the while how Dennis got into the castle if he did. Ben and Naomi reach the moat, but Ben makes them wait until continuing. After the snow begins to fall, Ben okays their continuation, even though Frisky and Naomi are both concerned Frisky will lose the scent in the snow. However, the snow gives them cover from the guards. They follow Frisky across the moat, unaware that the ice is thin close to the wall until Frisky falls in. Ben pulls Frisky out, and they retreat, trying to decide what to do next when Frisky suddenly jumps toward the middle.....
