Chapter 9 - 10 Summary

Flagg had attempted to kill Sasha at one point when Flagg took the poison of a deadly spider and put it in a glass of brandy intended for Sasha to drink. This was in retaliation for when Sasha interfered in the death sentence of two men, who had deserted their military posts. However, Flagg changed his mind because he knew Roland would know Sasha was poisoned and do everything he could to find the murderer, thus Flagg knew he would be caught.

Chapter 9 - 10 Analysis

In a flashback it is revealed Flagg attempted to kill Sasha. This suggests that Flagg will try again and that he will be successful, foretelling a chapter.....
