Balancing Summary

Jacob and Billy make an entrance into the Swan home. Bella admits to Jacob that she is seeing Edward, and she is worried that Jacob will say something or that Billy will say something to Charlie. It is nerve-wracking. After they leave, Charlie encourages Bella to invite Mike to the dance, but Bella doesn't want to. The next day, Edward picks Bella up for school and their conversation goes on, with Edward asking Bella about her life. Edward tells her he is leaving with his sister Alice after lunch. They are going hunting to prevent Edward from being tempted when he is with Bella the next day. As they talk, Rosalie, Edward's beautiful sister, comes up, but glares at Bella with hatred and hisses at her. Edward says Rosalie is worried for Edward in case something goes wrong.
