Scary Stories Summary

It is raining and Bella is listening for the truck to drive up, but never hears it. Suddenly it is just there. Bella thinks about her friend Jessica who is asking about Edward. Jessica is so surprised because the Cullens never talk to anyone outside their family. The girls at school are nastily gossiping about this. On the weekend many of the teenagers are going to La Push for a party at the beach. Mike is happy when Bella agrees to ride with him.

Bella remembers going to the beach at La Push as a child. It is a typical northern US beach, with cold water, high cliffs, stone formations, and trees around.
