Summary

The next section is titled Part Two, The List. Chapter 31 takes place in San Diego, California. Humza Kamir is a devout Muslim and a sleeper agent. He receives a package directing him to kill a man who “had brought about the deaths of scores, perhaps hundreds, of (Kamir's) Muslim brothers” (152). Kamir is to have the honor of avenging those deaths.

In Chapter 32, Reece spends hours going over the many pages Ben printed from Holder's hard drive. He retrieves a paper from the refrigerator on which Lucy had drawn her family “standing on green grass with a sun in the sky and a rainbow arcing downward” (154).
