Chapter 8, The Tower of Angels Summary

Sir Charles has his chauffer drive the children back to the window. He tells them that the person in the tower who has the knife will not want to give it up since it keeps him safe from Specters. Sir Charles tells Will not to bother coming back if he comes without the knife.

When Will tells Lyra about Sir Charles' daemon, Lyra once again feels like she has seen him somewhere, but she cannot remember where. Lyra tells Will that she saw a young man in the tower and that she thinks it is Angelica and Paolo's brother. They send Pan up to look around. Pan reports back that he has seen a young man dancing around in the tower, holding a knife. Will and Lyra ascend the steps of the tower and first...
