Summary

In Chapter 37, they return to the motel. Isabelle takes Maya while Letty talks with Joe and Vikki. Vikki wants to know how Letty recognized Declan. She explains about looking him up online, then tells them about the nanny cam. Letty believes Declan was the man who visited Tanya. She says the battery must have run down because the last video is three days before Tanya died. They all wonder how Declan found Tanya in New York and why he has returned to Florida. Vikki says those questions are secondary to the situation with Evan. She then discovers that she forgot to record the second conversation, which is when Evan incriminated himself. Joe uses Vikki's phone to call Evan and says he wants to hear the instructions directly from Evan before he proceeds. He says he wants Letty “permanently” gone, does not want her...
