Chapters 41-44, Leo and Jason Summary

They take a cab up Mount Diablo, but the earth begins pulling at the tires and the car is forced to stop and go back. They continue on foot towards smoke in the distance. Eventually they get to Enceladus' camp. Enceladus, a huge giant with scaly legs and talons for feet is pacing around a large purple bonfire. On the other side of the fire Piper's dad is tied to a post.

Jason goes forward to get the giant's attention as Piper slips around towards her father and Leo edges over to the bulldozer. Leo drops a homemade device into the bulldozer and runs to the harvester as Enceladus breathes fire at them. Coach Hedge is knocked out. Enceladus then sees Piper and tries to persuade her to betray her friends and leave with her...
