Section XII, ch. 33-36 Summary

Anita wakes to Richard and Jean-Claude arguing about making her Jean-Claude's human servant. Richard wants Jean-Claude to mark Anita because he is afraid she is dying, but Jean-Claude refuses. Anita agrees with Jean-Claude, threatening to kill him if he ever forces himself on her again. Jean-Claude is partially afraid that Anita would be the master if he marked her. Richard wants the first mark since Jean-Claude cannot come to the lupanar. Richard will kill Marcus tonight if Marcus does not back down. Edward arrives, but his backup is being guarded. Jean-Claude joins Edward to release his backup, Harley. Edward reveals that Marcus is the man who put the hit on Anita. Richard is outraged! Harley scares Anita because he stares at her. Edward told Harley to pick someone else to follow in case something happens to Edward...
