Section VI, ch. 14-15 Summary

Jean-Claude and Anita arrive at Danse Macabre, Jean-Claude's new dance club. The fact that Anita is offended that someone wants to kill her for business makes Jean-Claude laugh. Jean-Claude hits on Anita in an effort to cheer her up; his concern confuses her. Jean-Claude warns Anita to smile since the media are surrounding the club to present Jean-Claude as the Master of the City. They step out of the limo, and the media bombards Anita with personal questions. Anita threatens Jean-Claude that if he does not get her out of the media frenzy, she will pull her gun out and do it herself. She is not sure she wants the public to know she is dating a vampire.
