Summary

Part Two, Chapters Sixteen and Seventeen

In Chapter Sixteen, during a fund raising event, Robert breaks up with Jonah. After the break-up, Jonah goes to Ash and Ethan’s house. They aren’t at home but Rose, the housekeeper gets Ash on the phone and she asks him to stay at the house and keep an eye on the children. The next morning, Jonah is surprised by Mo’s skill and understanding of mechanics in working with his Legos. As they eat breakfast together, Jonah wishes he had been raised in an environment like the one the Figman children have.

In Chapter Seventeen, it is 2010. Manny and Edie have fired Paul Wheelwright, the man who they’d hired to oversee the camp. Enrollment is down and they want to go a different way. Paul tells them that he disappointed...
