The Interestings Overview

Overcoming one’s demons is the major theme of the novel The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer. The story follows a group of six friends who meet at a summer camp for the arts camp. As they find their places in life, the six deal with their down fallings, prejudices, fears and insecurities. Main character Jules Jacobson-Boyd learns that even with the sadness that each character deals with in his life, life is interesting enough to keep them going.
