Summary

Tegan does not feel well and only slightly feels Tuna moving in Chapter 55. She sees Simon there, and he uses Jackson’s lighter to set the papers aflame. Tegan realizes that she has hallucinated. Tegan has difficulty speaking. Polly takes Tegan‘s boot off but even this does not cause pain. Her foot is leaking fluid. They both agree that she needs antibiotics, and Polly goes upstairs.

In Chapter 56 Polly is surprised when Hank tells her he loves her before heading off to work, and she tells him that everything she is doing is for them. She makes sure she has left so he will not witness what she does next.

In Chapter 57 Polly calls in a prescription for an oral antibiotic, but if the infection has spread to Tegan’s blood, only an IV antibiotic would...
