Chapter Ten Summary

In Chapter Ten Alexia and Lord Akeldama are overcome by the wax-faced creature. They are taken to the Hypocras Club. Alexia hears the men discussing doing experiments on Lord Akeldama. They don't know who she is. She and Akeldama are taken down to the experiment rooms in the elevator. Alexia has no idea what an elevator is at this time.

In the meantime, Lord Maccon has gotten back to his castle and is being put into chains and a cell. Maccon is so strong that he can't have any furniture or objects in the cell with him. He goes through his change very painfully. He is taken to his cell and all the younger members of the pack who have changed as the full moon approached exhibit their submissiveness to him.
