Chapter 12, The End of the Year, and Epilogue, January Summary

In Chapter 12, Jane hides out in her apartment for a while after losing her job. When Jane receives the footage from the feedlot that her crew smuggled out for her, she begins to look through it, trying to decide how to edit it. One night, Akiko calls from an airplane. Jane picks her up at the airport and invites her to stay with her as long as necessary. Akiko tells Jane that she would like to visit the family in Louisiana that were featured on My American Wife! Jane arranges the trip. In fact, Grace and her family welcome Akiko and Grace is thrilled when Jane promises to reach out to Joy when she comes to New York.
