Chapter 2, The Clothes Lining Month and Chapter 3, The Ever-Growing Month Summary

In Chapter 2, Akiko Ueno sits in front of the television watching the first episode of the new show, My American Wife! Akiko's husband has asked her to watch the shows, cook the recipes, and then fill out a questionnaire about them. This came about the same time when Akiko's periods had stopped coming because she was too thin for her body to sustain them. Akiko's husband wants to have children, so he has been encouraging her to eat more meat in order to gain the weight needed to reestablish her fertility.
