Chapter 11, The Frost Month Summary

Akiko wakes in the hospital and a kind nurse comes to check on her. The nurse tells Akiko that she lost a lot of blood but that she is going to be alright. The nurse also suggests that she knows that Akiko's husband injured her, but Akiko refuses to confirm this assumption. The nurse gives Akiko a note from John that tells her he has gone to America and that he expects her to be quiet about how she received her injuries. Jane too wakes in the hospital and learns that she has a concussion. Bunny also tells her that she has lost the baby. Jane receives visits from her crew and a doctor.
