Summary

Chapter 51, "Hello Paranoia My Old Friend," opens with Magnus refusing Randolph as he begs for the sword. Magnus reminds the wedding party that the wedding can be blessed by Thor’s hammer and Thrynga agrees, clearly scheming. As they begin the wedding, Thrym tells Magnus to give the sword to Randolph, much to Thrynga’s annoyance. Magnus realizes she wants the sword and may want to assassinate Thrym. Sam uses sign language to tell him to give it, but Magnus worries that Loki is mocking her. Finally, he hands it over and Thrym uses it to bless the rings. Thrym summons the hammer. Magnus tries to speak to Thor through Otis as Alex attacks Thrym.

In Chapter 52, "My Uncle Gets Some Backup Singers," the giants attack as Randolph runs for Loki. Alex tries to strangle Thrym, while Magnus and Jack fight the other...
