Summary

Chapter 45, "Pigtails Have Never Looked So Frightening," starts as they climb the elevator and Blitz explains that Bright Crack is a type of kenning that means lightning. Sam says Sif is vain and that Loki cut off her hair because all she cares about is her looks. However, she thinks that replacing her locks with gold is also part of his prank that Sif and Thor are too dense to understand. They enter a massive man-cave where Thor greets them. Magnus summons Jack who tells Thor that Thrym stole the hammer. Magnus tells him everything and Thor swears to torture and murder Thrym and the other giants. Sam points out that they cannot get the hammer without Thrym. When Magnus says Sam is getting married for the hammer, Thor announces that he will never wear a wedding dress again as he did once...
