Summary

In Chapter 33, Lore learns that the raids on the Kadmides’ weapon storage was successful. She sees the feather necklace Gil gave her and goes to the townhouse’s roof. Athena comes up and Lore tells her that Gil was Hermes. Lore does not understand why Hermes did so much for her if he was just trying to get the shield. Athena says that Hermes was cunning and Lore again says she does not have the shield. Lore then asks why Athena only guided the men, and Athena says Artemis took care of women. Lore disagrees, saying that Athena reinforced the idea that men were the only ones who mattered. Athena says that Lore is angry and doubting herself because of Castor.
