Summary

In Chapter 26, Lore and Athena meet the others at the Frick and Miles says Van will meet them back at the house. They see a dead guard and wonder if it was Reveler or the Kadmides. They find four more bodies and Miles asks why they have been cut up. Lore says that Zeus’s poem says people will be rewarded if they kill a god with a blade and no one wants to deviate. Miles says they need to hurry and Castor stays behind. Athena, Miles, and Lore head to the lower levels where they find destroyed doors and a storage vault. They hear crashing and screams in the distance. They see Reveler drinking when Miles’s phone goes off. Reveler grabs Lore’s throat.
