Bettina and Mimi are invited to Charlotte's room for the first time to discuss the formal that Hoyt has invited Charlotte to. It is overnight in Washington, D.C. In the middle of their conversation, Beverly and Erica come in. Charlotte introduces them to Bettina and Mimi. They laugh when they find out about the formal. They tease her that only frat whores get invited to formals.

Hoyt goes to the Inn at Chester to meet Rachel. She brings out some reports they have on Hoyt and she reads portions of them.
