Chapter 6 "The Most Ordinary Protocol" Summary

Charlotte is in her room thinking about Jojo and Adam. She had learned that Jojo is a basketball player. He had seemed so sure of himself. Adam, however, seemed manipulative and opportunistic. She is listening to the sounds of students outside the dorm and her room and she feels alone. She reminds herself that self-discipline is one of the things that makes her Charlotte Simmons, that and her power of concentration. She is supposed to be studying for a test in the morning in medieval history but she is distracted again thinking about how both the boys had been attracted to her.
