Adam is on his way to a meeting at The Wave, Dupont's alternative newspaper. He is excited about pitching his idea for a story about the governor of California and what happened in the Grove last year. Adam feels entitled to the position of editor but knows that he can never have it because he has to work two jobs just to be able to afford to stay at college.
