Summary

In Chapter 33, Daunis arranges to meet Levi after hockey practice to ask him about the balance in their bank account. Daunis hears Levi with a group of guys and chooses to stay hidden. She is both grateful to Levi and surprised when he hits a boy who asks about the “Incredible Bulk” (299) who Jamie was dating. Levi warns the guy that if he talks about Daunis, his sister, like that again he will “end hockey for you” (299). Levi at first looks surprised when Daunis asks about the bank balance, but then tells Daunis he has been saving up his per capita money to invest in some land. He asks her to consider going into business with him, but does not say specifically what the business will entail.
