Summary

In Chapter 14, Daunis tells her mother she is going to buy books for college when she is really going to Marquette with Ron and Jamie to sign a confidential informant agreement. During the drive, Ron informs her she will be expected to share information about members of the hockey team, including her brother. He also tells her she will have to learn how to make meth so that she can determine what ingredient Travis added to his drug to make meth-x.

At the state attorney’s office, Daunis notes that the pen they give her to sign the agreement seems heavier than a normal pen.
