Summary

In Chapter 28, as Daunis runs for the bathroom, she can smell the odors of rotting flesh, WD-40, and chemicals. The other hockey girlfriends gather around the stall trying to comfort Daunis and attempt to convince her to come out. When Ron enters the bathroom, Daunis comes out because she does not want the other women to call security on him.

At the hotel, Daunis overhears Levi criticizing his team members for losing the game. Daunis is angered because he is not thinking about Robin and her death. Daunis tells Levi she does not appreciate the way he is avoiding Robin’s death. She wonders how many people will die before their community does anything to stop the drugs.
